A PABX is a telephone system used in offices or organizations with lots of staff/employees. A PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) is installed by telephone contractor and must be programmed for your further usage.

Some of the programming that you may need for your PABX system are:

• Configure the telephone lines
• Programming the direct lines and extensions
• Setting up the incoming call to ring at which extension
• Setting the speed dial number and so forth.

It is also a nature for people to come and go in the organization. Some maybe retire, some maybe resign, restructuring of departments, new comers, etc. In this matter, you may need to add extension, delete extension, update the user name and/or activate new extension(s). So, if the need arises, you know that you can talk to your telephone contractor.
